TR@CES is a location-based interactive experience for New York City. As you move through certain streets, your phone detects and unlocks a hidden digital replica of a specific place. Within this room, audio-visual traces left behind by strangers — recordings left on an old radio, graffiti sprayed onto a surface and photos pasted onto ad boards. These are tied to exact coordinates, heard or seen only when you are physically present.

There are no maps. No usernames. No followers. You find or leave a trace by being in the right place.
